Probably not specific in the ways you might hope, but several groups of Carina Press authors have banded together to create some group blogs that focus on the different genres they write in. I’m including some information below about each blog. I hope you’ll go check them out and see what these amazing authors have to say (plus, I hear there might be prizes at times!)
NOT YOUR USUAL SUSPECTS is a group blog featuring an international array of authors writing mysteries, suspense and romantic suspense. The premises and story lines are different than your “run of the mill” mysteries as you can tell by our group’s name. We tend to write what is considered outside the box and are published by Carina Press as well as other publishers.

ROMANCING THE PAST is a blog dedicated to Carina Press historical authors covering all time periods, sub-genres and levels of sensuality. Stop by to learn what we’re working on next, hear about our research and thoughts on how our ancestors lived (and made love!), and to join the conversation.
At CONTACT–INFINITE FUTURES, you might notice one thing fairly quickly — we’re an interesting, diverse bunch of people. Fascinating, even. So what are we all doing hanging out here?
Well, all of us love writing, and we love science fiction. Sooner or later, we were all going to get around to writing science fiction. We write all different types, from military sci-fi to science-fiction romance, and we’ll use this blog to share our thoughts on all of the above (and more) with you. The authors here (your friendly hosts on Contact — Infinite Futures) all have books published or forthcoming from Carina Press. We’ll be up and running in a week or so, and we’d love for you to drop by and share your thoughts and ideas with us!
HERE BE MAGIC is a brand new blog set up by 19 (and counting!) fabulous authors who all have books published or soon to be published with Carina Press. Their writing covers everything from fairytale retellings to steampunk, paranormal to post-apocalyptic. They wander through history and down the streets of their hometowns, muttering “what if…?” They tangle themselves and their characters in myth and legend, the ruins of ancient civilisations and the purely fantastical. Stop by, join in, and help create a community, a place for readers and writers to share their love of the fantasy genre. There will be new author posts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, plus giveaways, information on new releases, discussions on writing fantasy, Q&A’s sessions and much more!
