A Clockwork Christmas, Cont’d

So here it is, the afternoon of a superb Steampunk day, and we’ve popped open the bubbly. Jeeves-baby, our automated butler is bustling around.

“Hey, Jeeves-baby! Where’s the chocolate strawberries? and we need more champagne. Readers are a thirsty bunch!”

And for our readers, two more reviews = two more reasons to share the steampunk festivities. Here’s cheers!

Crime Wave in a Corset

The review of Stacy Gail’s CRIME WAVE IN A CORSET is given by Jenny Schwartz:

So every story in “A Clockwork Christmas” is a steampunkaloosa, i.e. fantabulous, but “Crime Wave in a Corset” is something special for two reasons–and those reasons are Miss Cornelia Peabody and Professor Roderick Coddington. They both stole off the page and into my heart. “Crime Wave in a Corset” is a life and death countdown to Christmas with two strong, sexy characters who need each other but are terrified of risking their hearts. What begins in vengeance becomes so much more … Fast-moving, vividly inventive and emotionally satisfying, “Crime Wave in a Corset” has it all.

You can buy Crime Wave in Corset as an EPUB or for your Kindle.

The review of Jenny Schwartz’s WANTED: ONE SCOUNDREL is given by Stacy Gail:

Wanted: One ScoundrelWhen I first started WANTED: ONE SCOUNDREL by Jenny Schwartz, I already knew the rough outline from reading the back cover copy. What I didn’t expect was that I would fall in love right from the first page. Esme Smith, a spirited young suffragette is desperate to get a toehold in rough-and-tumble Western Australia (a place I’m now frothing at the mouth to explore, thanks to Jenny’s vibrant narrative). The only way to achieve Esme’s goal is to get dashing Jed Reeve as her so-called “puppet”. Right from the beginning I was fangirling all over Jed; there were hints this yummy man-morsel wasn’t really what Esme thought he was. The mystery surrounding his background and the chemistry between Jed and Esme kept me turning the pages, a sure sign of a great read, but I really loved the adventurous twist at the end. With plenty of steampunky goodness sprinkled throughout, there’s a little bit of something in here for everyone.

You can buy Wanted: One Scoundrel as an EPUB or for your Kindle.
